Well, I'm going to go with Frehley's Comet, if only because of the membership on future "Late Show with David Letterman" drummer Anton Fig. Vinnie Vincent's Invasion, however, went on to lose members to....gulp...NELSON. Indefensible.

Space Ace all the way: selfish, yes, but he never stooped to wearing Ankh makeup. Stopped at 3rd & 43, exit to the night, it's gonna be ecstacy...this place was meant for me

There has long been rumors that #VinnieVincent had transitioned and today probably won't put that rumor to rest. Does Vinnie look... different? Absolutely! Maybe it's time, style or something else, however I don't see it as a negative. How does Vinnie look? Vinnie looks happy. ☥ pic.twitter.com/sqdggerUYT— KISSman (@KISSman) January 20, 2018

Eddie Trunk did an interview with VV the other day. I haven't listened to it so I have no idea how it goes or what they talk about.http://eddietrunk.com/eddie-trunks-interview-with-guitarist-vinnie-vincent-posted-online/
That first Ace Frehley/Frehley's Comet album is concentrated nostalgia for me but if I have to look at either of these solo careers objectively then uhhhh hoo boy...
― Devilock, Tuesday, 23 January 2018 18:14 (eight years ago)
the VV Invasion album is a classic 80s pop metal album imohis solos are like borderline atonal at times

Vinnie's drummer wrote an extremely lengthy but eye-popping account of his time in the band a few years back:https://bobbyrock.wordpress.com/2015/10/05/go-west-young-man-reflections-on-the-vinnie-vincent-invasion-audition-30-years-later/https://bobbyrock.wordpress.com/2016/01/08/welcome-to-hell-recording-drums-for-the-first-vinnie-vincent-invasion-album-part-1/https://bobbyrock.wordpress.com/2016/02/29/welcome-to-more-hell-recording-drums-for-the-first-vinnie-vincent-invasion-album-part-2-2/

Just listened to "Boyz Are Gonna Rock". The lead guitar lines do have some pretty impressive chromatic shredding and feedback. I didn't like much else about the song, unfortunately. Probably worth listening to the whole thing once just for the solos, though.

Wow the outro solo on "Shoot You Full of Love".

Wait, sorry, meant the outro solo on "Boyz"

I love those solos in "Boyz Are Gonna Rock." Vinnie sometimes makes me think of Ritchie Blackmore at his craziest, most abstract

today Vinnie announced that that long-awaited "Guitarmageddon" -- an album pre-sold to fans years ago iirc and never delivered on, VV has been on the grift for decades, but it's a very incompetent and half-assed grift -- is available for purchase for two million dollars. the person who buys it will own it and can release it, but VV is not gonna release it. individual songs can be bought for 25k apiece

If I'm paying $25K for "Rocks on Fire" I want all the versions, not just Version 1
