I don't really like either of them, but this song ain't bad. Shadow's production in particular is pretty sweet.

I really don't understand how this is possible. If you're not into ready-made agitprop, what is there to like about Zach De La Rocha?

haha you've got me there. well the Native American and 'machinations of capitalism' issues were not quite so militarised - and they were somewhat background issues so it seemed that because Rage spent a lot of time focussing on those they must've really cared about it. not that they don't care about the war in Iraq. thats the point though, everyone cares - everyone knows about it. do we really need songs that say 'this war is wrong?'

Steve, there are an awful lot of people in America who don't think this war is wrong. And while I doubt Zach's little ditty is gonna change any minds, I think the point of these kinds of songs is more to build solidarity and motivate the anti-war movement.

That being said, I will actually say this song is good because independent of the political circumstances that created it - it just *sounds* good.

Zach and co. now really sound like Urban Dance Squad!

So, when is the Zach De La Rocha/Tackhead collab happening? They should be married by now.

haha! Tackhead!!! So true. What's Bill Laswell cooking up right now I wonder...
