Scottish moodiness vs. Echo-worshipping intolerant Pennsylvania boys, hrm...

intolerant?

Nothing to do with the music, but as people I've not been fond of the Ocean Blue ever since I learned that when one of their number came out of the closet the rest of the band kicked him out. If this is some sort of urban legend, though, I'll retract the comment...

First Blue Nile is so over the top as to be almost incomparable. Well, on second thought there are Marc Almond records, but still...
Plus, it just sounds so fucking cool.It does make me laugh as well. "Do I love you? YES, I love you!" Ay yi yi!

That's a pretty sad case if it were true. I like a lot of their tunes but do find it hard to finish a whole CD. The same goes with the Blue Nile but I figure I'll be snoring sometime soon anyway.

Blue Nile easily. The two Ocean Blue albums I heard sounded a bit too dull and ploddy US indie rock, not what I was expecting at all. The Blue Nile - at least on the first two albums - are perfect late night listening.

Oh my god, is that true about the Ocean Blue? I really liked them way back when. They were sort of the polite, Pennsylvanian Ride.
