Radiohead - Go to Sleep

Acoustic guitars. Almost a pop song if Yorke wouldn't repeat "Over my dead body" all the time. "We don't want the loonies taking over." Come on Yorke, there is no way this is not a political song. They have taken over already anyways.

The most boring song they've ever done, really. I skip it and "Myxomatosis" - but at least the latter one annoys me in an interesting way. Obviously it's the next single then.

How to make Radiohead better:

1) Ban all guitars that actually sound like guitars. Guitars that sound like whalecalls, electronic equipment, the ravaging hounds of hell = classic. Guitars that sound like standard acoustic wibble = dud.

2) Do not allow Thom to sing Any. Lyrics. At. All. Sounds only, please. Fill his mouth with marbles and let him sing what he wants, that would be much better.

Most OTM Kate post ever. (Except for squealy serrated Johnny Greenwood guitar, that can stay).

I don't especially dislike Go To Sleep, but it does less for me than virtually everything else on the new album.
