Please help - quick! Question about CDR burning Freeware/Shareware

I'm at work, taking advantage of high bandwidth. I downloaded 2 huge files that I want to burn onto CDR, using an external USB burner. Except I can't find any software that will do it. I usually use Windows Media Player at work to burn Audio CDs.. But the files I want to burn are AVI files, and Media Player won't suport that.

Since I'm at work, I can't install software (no admin privileges) -
So I'm looking for shareware or freeware that I can use that doesn't require a full-on installation...

..Not afraid of it, but not having much luck finding instructions (such as how to create a TOC)...

google "nero burn". really easy & flexible CDROM burner.

It looks like the burner is a bit of a problem too.. I found a few freeware backup utilities that will write to a CD, but they don't recognize the burner (or say "please insert disk".) I'm going to search for drivers & see if I can fix that...
