I mean, I waste SO MUCH MUSIC by letting it drift around in the air. Or even the sticky drops that drip down my earlobes when I listen to it on headphones are a waste of gorgeousness that I cannot tolerate. I want to have this music injected into my very head!

Right now, for me, it is Spiritualized Complete Works Volume One. There is not a track on here that I could not put on endless repeat. (OK, except for the EKR counting bollocks, but that is easily skipped.) If you could have music injected directly into your brain to avoid wasting one gorgeous note, what album(s) would be your first choice? We're talking BEYOND headphone music.

the thing is, when you imagine hearing sound, would hearing it internally really be any different? perhaps its possible to make the brain think it is processing sound from an external source but with the difference in air quantity i'm not sure. sorry i have no real grasp of the science here but its fun to think about.

Perception - both of sound and vision - is so much in the brain, and in interpretation of external stimuli (HSA to thread!!!) that it would be interesting to see what kind of tricks you can play on the brain using direct neural input. Forget quadraphonic or surroundsound - BRAINRADIO is where the future is!
