I really like that Jennifer Lopez. I even broke down and bought her CD since that awful Ja Rule thing has been ingrained into my head. But that magazine where she has on the ruffly underwear - what the hell? Classic? Dud? Whatever?

The Ja Rule thing is AWFUL? Hell, it's the best thing she's done off of this 2nd album. The singles & videos off _J. Lo_ make her look / sound like she's trying too hard. On the remix, she actually sounds relaxed & confident.

Don't care too much about her music, though - I got my fill of that sort of stuff during the '80s, man (ah, Expose...). I'm just pissed that she hasn't made a good movie since _Out of Sight_.

I think dating Puffy broke her brain. Decent actress, mediocre pop star. Ruffly underwear is nothing compared to the metallic bikini.

Her deal?? Well, as you can see underneath, she has a perfect arse!

Kodanshi, Friday, 24 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

That pictures looks like a snapshot, post hanging.

I know! What's going on there???

Anyhow, the Ja Rule thing is better than Love Don't Cost a Thing, and it is also better than the original of I'm Real. However, it's still stupid, I mean Ja Rule? Fuck off, you're trying way too hard, arsey one.

But I really like her anyhow. She's fantastic.

Booty Pop.

nathalie, Friday, 24 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Question:
'The Cell' - what was going onnnnn?? 'If you had my love' = Clasic!
But hasn't she gone back to being Jennifer Lopez now P Diddy has been given the elbow?

DavidM, Friday, 24 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Actually she's going to continue paring her name down until it's merely a series of half sylables and abstract noises and is releasing a Henri Chopin remix of love don't cost a thing.

Puffy wont eat her out for some reason

Mike Hanle y, Friday, 24 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

reason = he has been dumped

mark s, Saturday, 25 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Now she's engaged to one of her dancers, you know.

Ally, Saturday, 25 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Like you then.

What's this Ja Rule thing called?

Graham, Saturday, 25 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

"I'm Real". It's a remix of the 3rd single from J-Lo's 2nd LP. It's a damn fine improvement - at least, when Ja Rule isn't getting all ruffneck. (I can't be the only one that likes his newer songs better because of the presence of female vocalists and the lack of HIS presence, can I?)

David Raposa, Saturday, 25 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

"(I can't be the only one that likes his newer songs better because of the presence of female vocalists and the lack of HIS presence, can I?)"

Answer: no. I think the femme vox push him into areas where he actually has to change his flow up a little (as much as he can anyway) or at least provide some much needed respite from his own shtick. Plus that fucking "Put It On Me" song was so goddamn ubiquitous around Philly that it was kinda impossible NOT to like it a little bit.

jess, Saturday, 25 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Obviously meaning "no david, you're not the only one" if it was obvious.

jess, Saturday, 25 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

*WASN'T* obvious...argggghhhhhh!...that's it, I'm going outside.

jess, Saturday, 25 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I lead J-Lo's life.

Ally, Saturday, 25 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Ramon's a dancer? You lucky dog, you...

David Raposa, Saturday, 25 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

David, we're all just her dancers.

Graham, Saturday, 25 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Her music is painfully boring and mediocre.

Lyra, Sunday, 26 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

But her arse looks delicious!

Kodanshi, Sunday, 26 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Graham said it before I could.
