About 10 years ago I moved flats and, as ever, spent the first half an hour thinking what the first song I should play in my new place should be. I settled on Bowie's "Golden Years " , -seemed to fit my mood. I had so musch luck at that place ( fell in love, made some good friends etc.) that it's been the first thing I play every time I've moved since . Anyone else got a "ritual" song?

I dont know if this counts but my (thankfully) ex-flatmate used to play "we are the champions" by Queen before he went out if he was expecting to pull. I still shudder for the womenhood of London every time I hear it.

I don't do this any more, but years ago I would play the Geto Boys' "Fuck 'Em" every morning before going to work. Actually, I might start doing that again.
