Who can tell me anything about Holy Toy?

All I know is that they are some kind of 80s electro/industrial band, the main guy walked all the way from his native Poland to the UK and they made a lot of noise with bits of scrap metal. Anyone heard them/can recommend releases?

I had that album too...the fact that I sold it about 10 years ago and I can't remember anything about it leads me to think that it wasn't very good as well. Was it on Dead Man's Curve?

I guess you are speaking of the sort of avante garde band led by Polish/Norwegian eccentric Andreij Nebb. This is the only thing I know about them, except Nebb used to be in the Norwegian band DePress before he disbanded them and formed Holy Toy, which, I think, was very much Nebb's brainchild.

Btw I found some links using Google, but they are all either in Norwegian or in Polish, apart from this discography:

two years pass...
Just want to point out that Panzer and Rabbits is brilliant. Funky, spastic, carnivalesque, art damaged, otherworldly. Chaotic but somehow it all holds together.

Most of the other Holy Toy albums I've heard are hit and miss.

So this is the guy that now does When isn't it? I like When.

Yeah, Lars Pedersen was in Holy Toy. Never heard any When.

three years pass...

pulled out panzer and rabbits last night. man, those guys were really on to something. or on something. total classic from the school of breaking-all-rules-of-music-yet-still-it's-music. yeah, I'll put panzer and rabbits up against whatever cab voltaire or einsturzende you've got laying around. for serious, it's that good. if you're not squirrelly about eastern europeans. I know some of you are.
