For the last couple of weeks it is Philip Glass Mishima Opening. Works well on many levels!
What is your favorite music to wake-up to?

The radio. Then I switch to *NSync, nothing beats some purty boys singing sweet nuttings.

I play an album almost every day before I go to work, but it's different every day. Right now, it's "Loaded".

Sean, Tuesday, 18 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

This week it's "Riding a Wave" by the Turnstyle. Usually it's Chinnichap glam or late Sixties bubblegum.

Arthur, Tuesday, 18 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Chinnichap glam would be more "music to play before you go out on a Saturday night" for me. Not to mention the Bay City Rollers track of the same name. Or "Bolan's Zip Gun", a record so hyped-up and frantic that it whips me into a frenzy for a night of propping up a bar. "Solid Baby", yeah!!!

Force And Styles!!!

I like Fugazi's Repeater. Good anthemic punk rawk.

Nothing, only the sound of my coffee maker.

Sean is officially My New Friend. You don't want to know how many T. Rex discs I have, and none of them bootlegs either!

Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 19 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I have every T. Rex album on original vinyl (except the first two Tyrannasaurus Rex ones, which I have on Japanese reissue), many of the unreleased tracks CD series, a couple live discs, 4 Bolan books, 2 videos including "Born to Boogie", a couple original teen-mag things with fab posters inside, and a portrait I have framed on my wall. Wanna come over, Ned? :)

Sean, Wednesday, 19 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Oh yeah, and a "Slider" coffee mug.

Sean, Wednesday, 19 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

And how about that "Sister Pat Hall" disc?

Sean, Wednesday, 19 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

WHAM! You know the one.

Nude Spock, Wednesday, 19 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

You know what I hate? Waking up to that shit on the Howard Stern show that's a throwback to Headbanger's Ball. Da da da da da dada... I can't wait for him to cut it off and say, "good morning evabuddy, hey now".
Also, most cds I get sick of real quick if I wake up to them.

Nude Spock, Wednesday, 19 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Oh, so tempting. Especially since I'm still looking for that damn Pat Hall disc. So why haven't you joined my (admittedly quite quiet) T. Rex list, dammit?

Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 19 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Where do I find it?

Sean, Thursday, 20 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Ohhhh... anything by Aretha Franklin.

Johnathan, Thursday, 20 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Getting Nowhere Fast - Wedding Present
Outer Space - Jimi Tenor
My Baby's got ESP - I've no idea who this is by
Lift Off - Parallax Corporation (I-f type electro)
Total Destruction - DJ Scud
'Water Ride' - 16b mixing into 'Sunshine People' - DJ Gil-br
Sunflower? - Pharcyde

One for everyday of the week.
