somewhat of a spin-off of the "wake me up! music" thread...since the vast majority of morning radio is now comprised of talk of various sorts (even when stations play music it averages about a song an hour), would you rather listen to people talking in the morning, music, or nothing at all? has it always been this way, people who were listening to the radio, pre 1985? is it the same in the UK?

Howard Stern should use a clip of that every morning. I can hear (what's his name, Hans?) Moleman now. That's from a really long time ago, right? What were the circumstances because I don't even remember the episode.

it was the bleeding gums murphy dies episode. which everyone says sucks, but there's SO much grate stuff in there.

it does suck kinda cuz lisa's taste is so out- of-character and sucky: however all eps w.hans moleman in em are clearly better than eps w/o...

I listen to John Humphries on Radio 4, as I can't bear Sara Cox ( or any of her predecessors for that matter).

Ideally he should be rolling some fat tunes in between grilling the various politicos but I don't expect that to happen for a little while.

I listen to Sara Cox as I can't bear John Humpheries. God, that mans undertakers voice is the last thing I need first thing.

I don't like Sara Cox either. She wakes me up, I get up and turn her off.

Whoa, the "Another One Bites the Dust" with the Jimmy "Spiderman" Allen rap?! I had that 45 when I was knee high, probably didn't even know I was listening to hip-hop. I can't imagine how truly awful it must be.
