Uh.. what kind of musical instrument is this?

I found this today at the Salvation Army today for a mere $10 bucks. I know it's a type of organ, probably from the early 60s or something but I just wanted to know what type or organ it was. After you turn it on a fan starts up and air starts getting pushed through everything. You can adjust the amount of air going through by using a pedal which in turn effects the volume of the notes being played. Pretty simple stuff. It sounds a lot like an accordian too(thick and reedy), especially when you hit them there buttons on the left side for the chords.

Is what they call a harmonium? A run of the mill organ? A MF'ing Farfisa?! I don't know anything about these things and I can't find anything through Google so any help would be appreciated.

not sure of the specifics, but it's some type of reed or air organ. Harmoniums used a similar principle of air being pushed through reeds but they had a bellow that you'd pump from behind and usually much fancier controls. Farfisas are combo organs, which are electronic. Electric air organs like this are usually common and cheap, but still pretty cool. I have one but one of the chord buttons on the side is stuck on, so everything is always in the key of F. THe fact that it's a sit down with the pedal is cool, the most common ones you find have legs or just sit on a table, and for dynamics it's always fun to just turn it on and off and back on.

Cool, thanks. My only complaint with it is that the air pump can get pretty noisy; enough for it to be a nuisance if I ever wanted to use it during recording. Still, for ten bucks (Canadian)..

Why did no one tell May Pang 6 years ago that it sounds like a Magnus (or similar) chord organ? I don't have mine any more, wish I did, and yeah the air compressor was hella loud, but:
