Choose your vocalists for Basement Jaxx's next album

Choose some vocalists (the more iconographic the better) that you would like to see appear on their forthcoming triple lp Intelligent Lucky Mannequins (the one in which they cut loose and make the party tracks they always wanted to).

My hopes:

Betty Davis (if she is still alive)
Grace Jones (ditto)
Joyce Sims (I want her to have more than 3 classic tracks - and curious how she goes in a cluttered enviorment)
Prince (just fufill their lifelong goal)
Morris Day, Sheila E, or Jill Jones (if Prince says no)

Jedmond, Monday, 12 January 2004 06:48 (twenty-two years ago)

beth ditto. morrissey. kendra smith

M Matos (M Matos), Monday, 12 January 2004 07:10 (twenty-two years ago)

Elephant Man seems terribly predictable...it just wouldn't surprise me at all if they used him. Ben Gibbard could be really interesting.

Jandek!
