Log On Dub is technically a remix, I suppose, but whatever. Also search "Keep It Movin" off the new Missy album.

heh destroy the "Elephant Man Remix" of Seeed's "What You Deserve Is What You Get" - embarrassing for both sides.

Tico Tico (Tico Tico), Monday, 12 January 2004 12:10 (twenty-two years ago)

not heard this - really that bad, tom?

Dave Stelfox (Dave Stelfox), Monday, 12 January 2004 12:15 (twenty-two years ago)

Well it's identical to the original except everything stops for 20 seconds while Elephant man says (and I mean says, he's barely MCing) hello to Germany. It's not awful - still a good bit of pop dancehall - but it is very cheeky to call it a remix and to play up EM's participation.

Tico Tico (Tico Tico), Monday, 12 January 2004 12:17 (twenty-two years ago)

sounds quite funny. does he actually say "hello germany"? if so, that's brilliant!

Dave Stelfox (Dave Stelfox), Monday, 12 January 2004 12:25 (twenty-two years ago)

No unfortunately - actually I think he does say "Germany the place to be" so you are right. I've only seen the video, the song I d/led is the Ele-less one.

Search:

Elephant Man & Jookie Mundo and a couple of other people (whatever, it's a UK Garage/proto-grime track produced by Destruction, who did that great mix of Pay As U Go's "Champagne Dance) - Stature of Liberty

Elephant Man & Ghostface Killah - Girls Callin'

I'm still waiting to hear the Mariah Carey collab-o.
