The Sugar Hill Anniversary compilation is a good start.

The Rhino Records box set is also a nice one - both of them, there's one 'hip hop' one, and one 'electro funk' one, but they're actually pretty similar.

Electro Breakdance - The Real Old Skool Revival is aces, a double CD of fun. And it's on slsk in its entirety.

I have Rhino's "Street Jams-Electric Funk", vol. 1 and 3, which are outstanding, though I can imagine every electro fan would disagree what the filler is on them.

that Flowers set is insane, and the sound is great - sounds like it was straight off the board/mixer

it's kind of crazy to hear some of these DJ sets from the late 70s and hear stuff people would still be sampling/making entire songs out of 15 years later

Whatever happened to "Looking for the Perfect Beat", vol. 1-4, are they going for ridiculous prices on Amazon? My favorite music, couldn't find anything recent that was as definitive. Search : anything that has "Dominatrix Sleeps Tonight" on it. Search for "break dancing music" or the Rhino comps, you'll find more.
