other than being in an episode of the brady bunch and having a last name that's an obvious joke in this post-hiphop era, what is he famous for? and has anyone here heard any of his music?

please don't repeat what i could find out on AMG.

I really want to spend more time listening to Hawaiian music, and possibly even learning to play ukelele (hey, they teach 8 yr-olds, how hard can it be?).

my friend rolled me a joint once called a Don Ho:

using coconut-flavored papers smeared with hash oil, put as much weed as the paper can handle, sprinkle liberally with keef and voila.

if you don't have or can't get coconut papers, use regular ones. that's called a 'faux ho'.

enjoy.

he's famous for doing "Tiny Bubbles" and singing that song about the Hawaiian state fish the humuhumunukunukuapuaha.

His daughter is the lovely and talented Hoku. And I'm sure I've never referred to her as 'Little Ho'.

That Don Ho joint would be enough to bring me out of pothead retirement.

this reminds me of that SNL Elvis movie skit with Wayne Gretzky.
