Just wanted to add that this is the kind of song where the chorus is not SUPPOSED to be the climax of the song, rather it fills a supportive role, it's function is to enhance the verses (which are hooky as hell). For another song with this structure have a listen to "There must be an angel (playing with my heart)", in that song as well as this one, the chorus is the least catchy part of the song but still holds an important function as a temporary break, to make the second coming of the verse even more powerful.
