The mysterious private members club which exists right outside the exit of the Pirate Of The Caribbean ride in Disneyland in Anaheim, CA. It is just a mere door in a non-descript corner. Friends and I have tested the truth of its existence and knocked on the door, and someone answered it! So it is no myth.

Anyone know anyone who's been lucky enough to get a peep inside?

I may or may not have taken a peek inside while working as a production assistant on an episode of "Wonderful World of Disney" a couple of years ago, when we shot all through the night when the park was closed. They may or may not have really comfortable, large, red, leather chairs in there and some impressive ancient animation cels on the walls.

My dad's played several gigs there over the past few years. He says the food is heavenly and it's smaller than people think. Other than that I have not been able to wrest any more FORBIDDEN MYSTERY from him, mainly because I haven't asked.

Shame they took out all the hidden microphones, though, that sounded like the best part.

i know alot of people that have been there. you can ready a bunch of trip reports to club 33 through the years on alt.disney.disneyland.
