Taking Sides: The Bangles Vs Radiohead

Now this is actually quite a difficult one. Radiohead have had their fair share of greatness ("The Bends" and, well, "The Bends" and, erm, a few singles and all that) but I'm not so sure they can touch something as delicate and lovely as "Eternal Flame" or The Bangles wicked rendering of "Hazy Shade of Winter".

I'm stumped. Who wins?

Different Light is a better record than Pablo Honey, actually.

See, when dave q comes up w/a q like this, it's always funny and interesting.

Well, of course it is. _Pablo Honey_ sucks ferocious ass.

I like Radiohead's overall output more but I'd much rather listen to The Bangles' voices.

Should I be mean, mention I've been in the Bangles' dressing room, and see if his head explodes?

Nah, it's not worth the hassle.

Susanna's still pretty hot, but she's a mum now and I don't much fancy that so I'm not jealous. And anyway, I actually like their tunes n'all...

'Goin Down To Liverpool' is so great. Is it really a Katrina & The Waves cover?

Yes, it is.

That original Bangles comp (released in 1991?) is as half-great as Radiohead's half-great album.
