I think Neil Hagerty's The Howling Hex seals shut Royal Trux's crypt for good.

Ian Johnson (orion), Sunday, 18 January 2004 06:55 (twenty-two years ago)

i think the neutral milk hotel legend is growing nicely, he shouldn't ruin it by releasing a record.

keith m (keithmcl), Sunday, 18 January 2004 07:17 (twenty-two years ago)

but what if he released a REALLY GOOD record?

Ian Johnson (orion), Sunday, 18 January 2004 07:31 (twenty-two years ago)

David Sylvian and Robert Fripp. It's been ten years since "The First Day" and I know that there are some unrecorded tracks that they wrote together for a second studio project that they were working on. Unfortunately, Fripp felt that he needed to exploit that King Crimson name and gain the interest of eggheads everywhere. Unfortunate indeed.

I know a lot of hipsters prone to nostalgia who would love to see this at last... (I'm not one of them, but it seemed appropriate for the thread):
