Our stats are suggesting this is now showing up for some people (after its server move). Are you one of them or are you getting an error message of some kind? There's not much I can actually DO with the site until it starts showing up for me but I'm interested in how fast it's propagating anyway.

Tico Tico (Tico Tico), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 11:44 (twenty-two years ago)

I get a page dated December 11th, for what it's worth.

mark grout (mark grout), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 11:48 (twenty-two years ago)

That may be a cache thing Mark - do you still get it if you refresh?

Tico Tico (Tico Tico), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 11:49 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm on bt connect at work, and I'm getting a "page not found". I'll try at home (on Demon) tonight, and tell you if it works from there.

Pashmina (Pashmina), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 11:49 (twenty-two years ago)

Yes.

mark grout (mark grout), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 11:52 (twenty-two years ago)

I refreshed a 404 and got a "this page has changed its name maybe or something else" message

Silly Sailor (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 11:56 (twenty-two years ago)

I get the full whack, fwiw.

CharlieNo4 (Charlie), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 11:58 (twenty-two years ago)

page loads OK, but December 11th is latest date for me too, even after a 'forced' refresh

zebedee (zebedee), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 12:00 (twenty-two years ago)

OK, duh, the Dec 11th thing is because that's when I last backed up all the files *slaps forehead* - the blogs haven't been republished yet so that's all you'll get.

Tico Tico (Tico Tico), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 12:02 (twenty-two years ago)

But hooray, this is good, it is working for some real actual people.

Tico Tico (Tico Tico), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 12:03 (twenty-two years ago)

i can see it ok

the surface noise (electricsound), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 12:03 (twenty-two years ago)

I got it too. Can I start posting to the blogs again?

Sarah (starry), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 12:33 (twenty-two years ago)

Seems to be OK here.

Nick H (Nick H), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 12:36 (twenty-two years ago)

Fine this end.

edward o (edwardo), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 12:41 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm starting to feel victimised here!!

Pashmina (Pashmina), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 12:42 (twenty-two years ago)

Don't worry Pashmina none of the site people can get it.

Starry you can post to the blogs but they won't publish properly yet. Please do post though as it'll stop them looking empty when I do manage to republish them.

Tico Tico (Tico Tico), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 12:45 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm getting an error message.

Matthew Perpetua (Matthew Perpetua), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 12:50 (twenty-two years ago)

works for me too

mark p (Mark P), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 14:15 (twenty-two years ago)

I am getting a BT404 from my place of business.

David R. (popshots75`), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 14:29 (twenty-two years ago)

It didn't work this morning but it does now. Nice elk btw.

Billy Dods (Billy Dods), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 14:31 (twenty-two years ago)

OK there should now be a Perry Como review at the top of Popular. Can someone whose Freaky Trigger is working confirm that and then I can get on with republishing the rest of the blogs? Ta!

Tico Tico (Tico Tico), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 15:18 (twenty-two years ago)

check.

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 15:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Up top of Popular page, yeah. Not the main page tho.

mark grout (mark grout), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 15:30 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah it wouldnt be on the main page yet, Alan needs to do stuff before the auto-update gets restored.

I'm still not getting a thing, of course.

Tico Tico (Tico Tico), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 15:31 (twenty-two years ago)

Tico Tico (Tico Tico), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 15:37 (twenty-two years ago)

Not as of 15:46, they're not

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 15:46 (twenty-two years ago)

They shouldnt have new material Andrew, just recent stuff (Friday for DYS, dont know about the others)

Tico Tico (Tico Tico), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 15:47 (twenty-two years ago)

I know, they're still at Dec 11, is all.

The December page is full, though I don't knwo if that's any different to an hour ago.

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 15:50 (twenty-two years ago)

December Archive page, that is.

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 15:50 (twenty-two years ago)

The archive is working but not the blog page itself? Gawd I will never understand the interweb.

According to my FTP app they've all been republished now - the front page of FT itself won't be showing any changes though but the material itself ought to be there.

Tico Tico (Tico Tico), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 15:52 (twenty-two years ago)

OK I'm finally getting it - thanks everyone for your help!

donut bitch (donut), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 18:19 (twenty-two years ago)

NYLPM is now in its kewl new home too.

Tico Tico (Tico Tico), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 18:30 (twenty-two years ago)

I am still getting the BTConnect gasface (after refreshing from the good ol' IE "Your Page Doesn't Exist, Farmboy" placeholder I 1st rec'd upon FreakyTriggering).

David R. (popshots75`), Tuesday, 20 January 2004 18:35 (twenty-two years ago)

The site WAS up, & I posted to NYLPM, but then it went down again. Coincidence!(?)

David R. (popshots75`), Wednesday, 21 January 2004 05:29 (twenty-two years ago)

I still can't get to it :(

jel -- (jel), Wednesday, 21 January 2004 18:13 (twenty-two years ago)

Tico Tico (Tico Tico), Wednesday, 21 January 2004 19:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Tom - are all of the entry permalinks to the old NYLPM site are over & done? I've been keeping tabs of my NYLPMing on my website, and I'd like to make sure that all my many fans (hi, David R.!) don't get whacked with the FILE NOT FOUND stick.

David R. (popshots75`), Wednesday, 21 January 2004 19:38 (twenty-two years ago)

No they should be fine - the stuff is still up on the old server, it's just not being updated anymore. I'm not sure how long that'll be the case though.

Tico Tico (Tico Tico), Wednesday, 21 January 2004 19:40 (twenty-two years ago)
