good lord, "connective" is even in my oxford dictionary! i looked at it and wondered a) why didn't they say connectedness? and then b) is that one of those words that american intellectuals are always making up? (cf. judith butler and "fictive" - in no oxford dictionary i've ever come across)

After I hit "send," I realized that's a terribly closed question and would result in short answers. Bah!

Then I thought I should have asked "Have you ever spent a lot of money on a guitar and/or drum accessory only to realize later that you didn't like it very much? If so, how did that make you feel?"
