jj72 changed their bass player. the new one is quite hot too though. she's friends with a girl in my class. recently when me and some mates had a club night my friend came out with jj72 girl, they were sitting at a table while I played and the conversation got onto girls in guitar bands and things.

Anyway my friend Stephen is talking about Ash and different bands and he eventually blurts out, totally oblivious "Oh yeah JJ72 had that really hot bassist, and then they changed her for another girl, and she's really hot too!"

So funny.

Now that's pretty cool. How does one play for a band AND also study by the way? I really like JJ72, you can tell your mate that at least one person is glad they never called it quits. The band gets regular airing from my stereo and "Undercover Angel" is brill (the dangers of being superficial are something I know all to fecking well...)

JJ72 are awful, an embarrassment to Irish music, an embarrassment to music, an embarrassment......and their bassist was not that hot. Posh little D4 kids trying to play angst-rock, badly.

Oh, alright then. Didn't their drummer look quite hot in the "I Want To Break Free" video, dressed like a schoolgirl? Or is it just me?

david, it isn't just you. as i have often said: roger taylor as a schoolgirl beats britney as a schoolgirl HANDS DOWN. and ANY hott chick bass player, for that matter. queen were fucking rocking and freddy is my hero. JJ72 will never have a bassline as great as "under pressure", they will never have backing vocals as freaky as those in "its a kind of magic", they will never have a frontman/vocalist like freddy. for better or for worse, they will never have hair like bryan may's.

i wouldn't call JJ72 an embarassment to Irish music as such (have you HEARD...most of the stuff that emanates from the Emerald Isle?) - but that guy's voice was just awful 90% of the time. can't even remember the bassist's name tho.

this is like Kray II vs Vic 20 (nerd joke) - but Lucy made me larf with the Roger Taylor thing (does this mean you thought he was hawt in schoolgirl garb or just that Britney wasn't?)

The JJ72 singer was hotter than the JJ72 bassist. Dreadful voice, mind, and his band were shit. So were Queen.
