let's discuss this film that had a muted, nearly invisible marketing
campaign, yet came out of nowhere to become the blockbuster hit of
the summer. i mean, yeah, it bore all the hallmarks of a cliched
hollywood cliched heist movie - but how about those eclectic casting
choices?

ed norton as the ruthless criminal billionaire? seth green
as the hacker? mos def as the black guy? marky mark wahlberg as the
pokerfaced, monotone male lead? that guy from _lock, stock, and two
smoking barrels_ as the british guy?? charlize theron as the tight
blonde who inexplicably refuses to display her magnificent ass?!?

brilliant casting decisions all! discuss!
