Which book?

Baaderist (Fabfunk), Wednesday, 28 January 2004 08:31 (twenty-two years ago)

she wrote a bunch of books for adolescent girls, right?

I like "musique automatique" a lot, though it's a bit overlong. "jukebox alarm" is still my fave.

Felcher (Felcher), Wednesday, 28 January 2004 17:07 (twenty-two years ago)

"c'est communiste!"

yeah, they're great live, esp their shows here in montreal where people LOVE them

They did a show with Momus at the knitting factory for that album that had to be one of the most fun events I'd ever been a part of.

yeah, momus played with them (& lederhosen lucil) in montreal at the lion d'or! great line-up, great show.

there is mention of a novel out soon on their website, they've also started their next album, in december actually.

Probably standard fare, but when I saw them last year they invited the entire audience to come up on stage and dance on Tanzen in 4 Eck. I've now got a video of me double high-fiving Pretezel Goring and limboing the night away.. Classic.

Baaderist (Fabfunk), Thursday, 29 January 2004 11:03 (twenty-two years ago)

nice, that is a really fun song

"but when I saw them last year they invited the entire audience to come up on stage and dance on Tanzen in 4 Eck."
same here. didn't get any video out of it, but the dancing ruled.

Felonious Drunk (Felcher), Thursday, 29 January 2004 18:09 (twenty-two years ago)

I'd so love to see them in concert. Musique Automatique is one of my very favorite Saturday morning albums ever.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Thursday, 29 January 2004 18:25 (twenty-two years ago)

they're extremely charming in concert, they stand next to each other and disco dance a bit.

s1ocki (slutsky), Thursday, 29 January 2004 18:41 (twenty-two years ago)

two years pass...
but when I saw them last year they invited the entire audience to come up on stage and dance on Tanzen in 4 Eck.

Still do! I was a bit afraid beforehand that the audience would be all old farts like Momus me and/or hipster boys checking them out semi-ironically and refusing to even nod their heads, but there were lots of young popfan people, singing along in all languages and chanting "Wir tanzen im 4-Eck!" between songs. One girl was invited onstage to sing "L'amour à 3" (obv) with them as well.

eight years pass...
