Courtney Love (news)'s court hearing was postponed Tuesday (January 27), after the singer/actress had a private meeting with the judge, the AP reports. Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox spoke to Love and her attorneys for eight minutes before her hearing on two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance. Fox decided to delay the proceedings until February 11, saying an additional investigation was required on the matter. It was the second time the hearing has been delayed.
Outside the courthouse, Love told reporters she is planning a tour in support of her solo album, America's Sweetheart, scheduled for release in February.
Love pleaded not guilty to felony charges of illegal possession of two prescription painkillers--Vicodin and OxyContin--which were discovered while she was being treated at a hospital for a drug overdose on October 2.
Love was additionally charged with two misdemeanor drug counts, also on October 2, after she was arrested while trying to break into the home of her former boyfriend and manager, Jim Barber.

COURTNEY LOVE has reportedly been arrested after a secret gig in NEW YORK.
CNN news reports that the star was arrested last night (March 18) for alleged reckless endangerment after a mic stand was thrown into the audience, striking a member of the crowd.
Following an eventful appearance on the US chat show Late Show With David Letterman Love turned up at New York club Plaid for a secret gig.
A nightclub spokesperson claimed that a stand was thrown into the audience and hit a 24-year-old man in the head, who suffered minor injuries. Unaware of what had happened the band continued, but the star was arrested when she came off the stage.
The spokeswoman said that Love "felt terrible" about what had happened. She claimed: "It was pretty bloody. No one really knew while she was performing that this happened. She wasn't aware and did a few more songs. He worked his way through the crowd to the door and security called the ambulance."

Why if I had a pound for every time I've suffered "minor injuries" after being hit by a mic stand that's been thrown off the stage into the audience I'd have.... oooooh.... probably best part of a fiver by now.

Actually, the potential for inflicting "minor injuries" on members of the audience was one of the reasons that I was persuaded to give up trying to play bass and start "singing" in the first place!
Well, that and the fact that my bass playing made Sid Vicious look like John Patitucci.
