I'm going to say classic, and they deserve more attention. They don't seem to be trying to do anything other than playing some good ghostly garage blues, and they're infinitely preferable to, say, the Black Keys.

classic delta blues garage. they play on the sidewalk outside the liquor store here in cambridge and yeah v. underrated, miles better than black keys

I liked them a lot more before I heard the whole record and the Sympathy 7", both of which were underwhelming. Haven't heard the first album. Frankly, I prefer Black Keys.
