I was let down by the Trans Champs E.P., but I always thought the Fucking Champs and Trans Am had an amazing collaboration in them somewhere. Has anyone heard this yet? Release date sites have it as coming out next week, yet I just stumbled across it...

funny they have 5 mp3s... the first two are 3 seconds long. the third is 7 seconds... fourth 11... and fifth 14!

one month passes...

Sigh. It is mediocre as hell. I really like the second song, "The Gauntlet," which is like a Satanic "Mr. Roboto" cover by a methed-up Melvins. Aside from that, it's average. Dammit! I've been listening to this and the new Drive-By Truckers, and they're both ... meh. (Although the Truckers' album has classic, Mike Cooley's "Daddy's Cup.")
