TV On the Radio - Thoughts on LP and live?

Hiya,
heard the TV on the radio LP recently and quite liked the harmonies and guitars but thought the programmed drums were quite poor.. ...but..... just saw them live at bush hall (sheperds bush, london) with real drummer and they were fantastic!
Guitars were more fennesz/explosions in the sky, more soulful voice,
bass n drums locked in and were much better, plus lots of people were moving their ass! great fun :)

anyone any thoughts on them? or know anything about them?
