AdamL :') (nordicskilla), Thursday, 10 June 2004 02:45 (twenty-two years ago)

Someone came cruisin' down 9th Street *BLASTING* PM Dawn's "Set Adrift on Memory Bliss" last night at around 2:00 am. That was simply too loud.....and somewhat of an incongruous choice, but whatever. It may be mellow, early 90's lovey-dovey hip hop, but it woke my infant daughter, dammit.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Thursday, 10 June 2004 02:48 (twenty-two years ago)

Kids today, I'm tellin' ya.

James Slone (Freon Trotsky), Thursday, 10 June 2004 03:44 (twenty-two years ago)

Just about anything released in the past ten years. A whole lot of remasters too.
Damn popular recording techniques.

Øystein H-O (Øystein H-O), Thursday, 10 June 2004 03:59 (twenty-two years ago)

That "Let's Go Kro-Ger-Ing!" jingle that abruptly interrupts Chuck Mangione in mid-song at the grocery store.

Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains), Thursday, 10 June 2004 06:43 (twenty-two years ago)

"If its too loud, you´re too old" to thread.

NUXX (NUXX), Thursday, 10 June 2004 06:52 (twenty-two years ago)

Wilco is too loud at any volume.

Jazzbo (jmcgaw), Thursday, 10 June 2004 10:28 (twenty-two years ago)

"Black Night" by Deep Purple always seems to overmodulate. And yet, it CAN NEVER BE QUITE LOUD ENOUGH!

briania (briania), Thursday, 10 June 2004 12:01 (twenty-two years ago)

TOBY KEITH

nickalicious (nickalicious), Thursday, 10 June 2004 12:31 (twenty-two years ago)

Alan Jackson being blasted out of a small monster truck with three Confederate flags projecting from its cab and all these wretched Confederate "war hero" imagery replete with lightning and skulls along the side. Please...may I move from the South?

Ian Beverly (Eastern Mantra), Thursday, 10 June 2004 13:51 (twenty-two years ago)

HAMBURGER NEURON GROUP (ex machina), Thursday, 10 June 2004 13:52 (twenty-two years ago)

That "Let's Go Kro-Ger-Ing!" jingle that abruptly interrupts Chuck Mangione in mid-song at the grocery store.

I would like to second that and add that I miss KRGR Radio not at all

Morley Timmons (Donna Brown), Thursday, 10 June 2004 16:15 (twenty-two years ago)

I used to work at Kroger, and they would play this commercial for French's mustard, sung by a 1000 dying castrated children in a pit of fire.

David Allen (David Allen), Thursday, 10 June 2004 17:21 (twenty-two years ago)

I remember that one!

Morley Timmons (Donna Brown), Thursday, 10 June 2004 17:21 (twenty-two years ago)

The intercom is too loud there, too.

Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains), Thursday, 10 June 2004 18:32 (twenty-two years ago)

Anything by Scooter or Modern Talking would sound better with the volume turned down to 0.

Geir Hongro (GeirHong), Thursday, 10 June 2004 19:11 (twenty-two years ago)
