High Speed and the Afflicted Man

Does anyone know what this band is? And should I buy a 12” by them for like 4$?. It looks pretty good, and the name sounds familiar. Were they at all connected with The Door and the Window or am I totally thinking of something else?

it's like 70s acid rock style with a punk vibe. if it's "get stoned ezy" i'd get it. i'm unaware of a door and the window connection, but could be.

'gutter punk vibe,' that should've been. one of the earlier lps (afflicted man's musical bag) was more punk sounding.

It's worth chancing that you might like it (you could maybe even flog it for more than that). The Get Stoned Ezy/I'm Off My Head period stuff is singular sounding. Lumpen 1 man psych-punk.

The Afflicted Man was allegedy a gay extreme racist who later died of AIDS (can anyone confirm this?).
