Gerry and the Holograms totally predates Jem and the Holograms. Jem and the Holograms was totally derivitive of Gerry's sound and style. If Gerry and the Holograms hadn't glued that record to the sleeve, they'd be superstars, and superheroes, today, like Jem and the Holograms.
