She (they?) hails from the Lone Star State, same as our man Sterling. I'm at once suspicious, intrigued, and, as Tim Hardin might say, looking for a reason to believe. Has anyone actually heard this? The 'mental hospital' thing reminds me a bit too much of Marvin Pontiac (not a bad thing, per se, but not what I'm looking for) and the many pictures of her, face obscured with hair, don't help. She either has a lot of rabid fans or a few scattered nutjobs faking the funk, because the message board on ONE of her TWO fansites (that's right - this in addition to an 'official' site without an admitted moderator) is full. I'd sure love this to be my new Terry "Rojvi." Can anyone shed some light?

i haven't heard her; amazon.com users think she/they is/are mediocre. there are also tracks on her website (jasminestar.com) you can download.

I already don't like that it's a 'band.' At best, it seems exploitive (Chusid to thread), at it's worst, a hoax. And one that has been done to death.
