This has been in my slsk wishlist for a month now! I can't wait. I hope it's not bollocks. He could do with a move away from all the trendy punk-disco (or whatever the kids are calling it nowadays). For someone into so many types of music, Weatherall should release a good eclectic mix.

Tim Finney (Tim Finney), Tuesday, 28 September 2004 07:09 (twenty-one years ago)

areal represent!

etc, Tuesday, 28 September 2004 07:29 (twenty-one years ago)

does anybody else really love the mix he did for the heavenly social?? or his essential mix from the same year?? they ought to reissue those, i liked them much better than hypercity (proper leagues-deep deep house music).

this one looks pretty good - but maybe a tiny bit too kitschy for greatness?

vahid (vahid), Tuesday, 28 September 2004 09:08 (twenty-one years ago)

looks very nice to me
and vahid, yeah i love his social mix too - still play that disc a whole lot. the fearless mix is rockin too

rentboy (rentboy), Tuesday, 28 September 2004 12:37 (twenty-one years ago)

no one replied about my enquiry about 2LS vintage reggae mixes. Anyone know where I can get one?

dog latin (dog latin), Tuesday, 28 September 2004 15:09 (twenty-one years ago)

one month passes...
so yeah, this has been playing non-stop since I grabbed it on Friday.
So great! The whole 4/4-schaffel juggling thing he does around tracks 6-8 is just phenomenal DJing. and I'm not sure what track it is yet - but the one that sounds like Justus Kohncke (sp?) singing around track 9 or 10 is great. And how did I miss the Kerrier District mix of "Timing" up till now? It's total devastation. Low end rumbling with the "doo doo doo doo"s just smattering the upper end...

This whole mix is greatness and highly recommended. Weatherall def delivers
