The Sound of Headstart: A Cassette

back in early '00 or so, my GF at the time picked me up a cassette mixed by carl clarke. The Sound of Headstart. she'd gone to the club and thought i might like what she heard there. well, the first bit of the tape didn't do it for me and i tossed it aside for a couple of years until recently and i gave it another go. there's some tunes later in the mix i'm dying to know what they are but i can't find reference to it anywhere. anyone know anything about this?

need a hint? well let's see. there's this one sweet tune in the middle of side one that's, like, cool and stuff.
the second side starts out more slammin. starts with this vocodored voice going "can you understand me now? do you understand me now?" then this thick kick comes in and distorted washes and reverbed-out sirens and stuff.

does carl clarke sux? apparently ettienne de crecy was a regular there around the time i'm talking about, so it couldn't have been too bad right? is headstart still around? londoners?
