So I bought a ticket to his upcoming DC show. I realize I’m never going to be have a working time machine to go back to the Michigan Palace in 1974 so I better seize the opportunity while he’s still with us. If there’s a horn section too that would be a nice bonus.

The wife and I had tickets to see The Stooges in SF when they first got back together and toured. I was beyond excited.
We ended up moving to Houston a week before the show.
Ten years earlier I missed a small in-store by Low in Austin by one day, because I was moving to California and could not delay by one day. That one still smarts.
