Is there one of these yet? For short-form (or I suppose long-form is okay too) music videos? Just asking cos I haven't seen a whole lot this year that I've been impressed with.

Lodger 'I Love Death'
Air 'Cherry Blossom Girl'
The Streets 'Fit But You Know It' (original and remix version)
Basement Jaxx 'Cish Cash'
Wiley 'Pies'

Badly Drawn Boy - Year of the Rat
(Paranoid Android-ish animation but it complements the messy naive sweetness of the song pretty well)

Beastie Boys - Triple Trouble
(Crazy shit absurdity with a fashion runway, trick or treating, Sassquatch and a Kanye West cameo!)

Lloyd featuring Ashanti - Southside
(An elaborate homage to Robert Deniro's "A Bronx Tale" with long sappy dialogue exchanges between rap producer, mogul/video directorIrv Gotti and teen thug Lloyd)

Vanessa Carlton - White Houses
(Vanessa plays piano while watching herself ballet dance. Really pleasent art direction and choreography. Only drawback is Carlton's acting/facial expressions are amateurish even for music video)

favorite bizarre video trend of the year: eating cereal outdoors (J-Kwon in "Hood Hop", Jim Jones in "Certified Gangstas", and last year Pharrell in Fam-Lay's "Rock'n'roll")

Yes, but I'm afraid it died a quiet death.
