Half hour to go, boys and girls

Alt country's answer to the unsalted cracker, JESSE MALIN will be hosting!

You're psyched!

roger adultery (roger adultery), Monday, 23 August 2004 02:29 (twenty-one years ago)

a live version of "Do It Clean" is currently rockin' out over on VH1classic.

Lt. Kingfish Del Pickles (Kingfish), Monday, 23 August 2004 02:33 (twenty-one years ago)

Come on, dude, it's all about M2 tonight.

roger adultery (roger adultery), Monday, 23 August 2004 02:38 (twenty-one years ago)

but it's hard enough already to flip back & forth between VH1 & "Dave Attell Gets Drunk in Japan"

...wait, what's this one? A Chameleons UK vid?

oh. The Church.

Lt. Kingfish Del Pickles (Kingfish), Monday, 23 August 2004 02:43 (twenty-one years ago)

My god, is there anyone writing worse lyrics that Green Day these days?

roger adultery (roger adultery), Monday, 23 August 2004 03:00 (twenty-one years ago)

new Streets video! Yr missin' it!

roger adultery (roger adultery), Monday, 23 August 2004 03:03 (twenty-one years ago)

I liked that Green Day vid. Seemed so happy.

Lt. Kingfish Del Pickles (Kingfish), Monday, 23 August 2004 03:05 (twenty-one years ago)

This K-Os guy is TRYING to reference "So Whatcha Want" with this video, right?

roger adultery (roger adultery), Monday, 23 August 2004 03:07 (twenty-one years ago)

sorry, too busy watching the Cowboy Junkies vid on the other show.

Damn. Margo really needed some conditioner back then.

Lt. Kingfish Del Pickles (Kingfish), Monday, 23 August 2004 03:09 (twenty-one years ago)

You're missing gold here on M2

"I'm just a b-boy / and it brings me joy"

omfg kill yourfuckingself

roger adultery (roger adultery), Monday, 23 August 2004 03:10 (twenty-one years ago)

These Puma ads where the runner has to hand off the baton make it sound like he's yelling "skeet skeet skeet" at the person taking it...

Lt. Kingfish Del Pickles (Kingfish), Monday, 23 August 2004 03:12 (twenty-one years ago)

Hey! No shit-talking about Margo!

Sorry, roger. I like you and all, but I'm going to stick with "The Alternative". Not even a roast of our mayor being aired currently by our local "government access" channel is eliciting desires to change the channel.

I don't know how much my mind's going to be messed up by Al Jourgensen's admission that he loves "classic country", but I think I need to rush to the restroom to go do a quick cranial scrub-a-dub-dub.

Many Coloured Halo (Dee the Lurker), Monday, 23 August 2004 03:15 (twenty-one years ago)

That's OK - i'll walk yall thru it. I'm a glutton for punishment.

Radio4's new album is called "Stealing of a Nation" and the first single sounds like it was produced by a sleeping Neil Tenant

That's it, I'm voting for Bush

roger adultery (roger adultery), Monday, 23 August 2004 03:16 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh, and the video looks like the intro to Bruno's skits on Ali G

roger adultery (roger adultery), Monday, 23 August 2004 03:17 (twenty-one years ago)

holy shit. this IS radio 4

Lt. Kingfish Del Pickles (Kingfish), Monday, 23 August 2004 03:18 (twenty-one years ago)

Keane?!

fuck this. back to Dave Attell.

oh look, L7's "Pretend We're Dead." been about 12 years since i've seen this one.

Lt. Kingfish Del Pickles (Kingfish), Monday, 23 August 2004 03:19 (twenty-one years ago)

Hard to believe these dudes used to be in Garden Vareity. Now they sound like a much, much worse (and, inexplicably, less coherent) Primal Scream.

I'm kinda hoping they play that new Piebald song. Fuck if I don't hate myself for it, but I really like that song.

roger adultery (roger adultery), Monday, 23 August 2004 03:19 (twenty-one years ago)

oh neat. A Sugarcubes vid.

Lt. Kingfish Del Pickles (Kingfish), Monday, 23 August 2004 03:24 (twenty-one years ago)

ooh, 'motorcrash' on vh1 classic!

scott pl. (scott pl.), Monday, 23 August 2004 03:25 (twenty-one years ago)

new Libertines. Kinda OK. I definitely wanna hear the new album. Maybe I'll download that one tonight. Is it worth it?

roger adultery (roger adultery), Monday, 23 August 2004 03:30 (twenty-one years ago)

Jesse Malin reminds me of Michael Imperioli portraying Dee Dee Ramone

roger adultery (roger adultery), Monday, 23 August 2004 03:43 (twenty-one years ago)

"9/11 baby, BOOM" = actual Jesse Malin lyric

roger adultery (roger adultery), Monday, 23 August 2004 03:44 (twenty-one years ago)

This Stills song is alright

Jim Shearer is unbearable as a host

roger adultery (roger adultery), Monday, 23 August 2004 03:50 (twenty-one years ago)

Jim Shearer is better than the alternative.. the alternative being anyone else.

Cheek0 (Cheek0), Monday, 23 August 2004 03:57 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm not so sure about that

Anyway this one was boring. RJD2 video? Not necessary. I'm gonna watch Who's The Boss now and get drunker. Maybe eat a Bowl Apetit.

See myself next week, thaks for the company, James! You're my favoritest guy on all of ILM!

roger adultery (roger adultery), Monday, 23 August 2004 04:00 (twenty-one years ago)

"9/11 baby, BOOM" = actual Jesse Malin lyric

wow. first interesting thing I've ever heard about him (and I saw D Generation live once back in high school)

CeCe Peniston (Anthony Miccio), Monday, 23 August 2004 04:02 (twenty-one years ago)

RJD2 song sounds alright. I don't know why he got the guy who did veggie tales to do the video though..

Cheek0 (Cheek0), Monday, 23 August 2004 04:03 (twenty-one years ago)

hmm. time to switch over to Chapelle's show and go back to playing "Planescape: Torment"

Lt. Kingfish Del Pickles (Kingfish), Monday, 23 August 2004 04:04 (twenty-one years ago)

I like the episodes where Jonathan is trying to date girls. He was as gay as the day is long from day one, huh?

roger adultery (roger adultery), Monday, 23 August 2004 04:06 (twenty-one years ago)

also, the first TV character reffered to as "Annjaler"

Lt. Kingfish Del Pickles (Kingfish), Monday, 23 August 2004 04:07 (twenty-one years ago)

NB if I'd been at a TV with a channel return I'd have been following both, but alas. And good god yes: do the kids like boring people these days? I mean, from Carson Daly to Jim Shearer, it's like being intolerably dull is the new VJ cool.

nabiscothingy, Monday, 23 August 2004 04:08 (twenty-one years ago)

word..

There were times when I lost a dream or two.
Found the trail, and at the end was you.

Cheek0 (Cheek0), Monday, 23 August 2004 04:08 (twenty-one years ago)

three years pass...

I rediscovered this show after getting a DVR. Last night they played Deerhoof, Bang Gang and Aphex Twin. I think the rest of the hour was taken up by the Starburst commercial with the whale.
