I'm struggling beyond "Radio, Radio" and "Left of the Dial" and "Turn it On" (Flaming Lips) to come up with radio anthems. I've got a community radio show and were in the middle of pledge drive and I thought a radio-song-themed show might be fun. Maybe ranking them would be fun...

Since (probably) nobody else will, I'll nominate Triumph's "Magic Power", the one truly great song those laser-dazed Canadian hacks had in 'em. They were the poor man's Rush, which makes "Magic Power" the poor man's "Spirit Of Radio".

Basehead's "Not Over You" has a killer bit where, after moping about a breakup, they shuffle through a radio's selections, only to have love songs pop up. The track's on the "Pump Up the Volume" soundtrack, as well as the original Basehead disc.
