I don't think I stand by this list anymore, I felt really bad about not putting plucky Emma B in my albums picks, Buffy thing was nominated on the basis of maybe half a dozen tracks which was probably not real clever of me, also I totally unvalued the Scissor Sisters and and things. Sigur Rós and Radiohead are so commonly associated because they rose to fame after they toured with Radiohead in 2000.

Doesn't matter, because mine will never make the top 100. Still, though: Argentina's Bersuit Vergabarat made my ideal album: passionate, beautiful, sloppy/tight, dirty-minded, state of the art, and full of history. This is like P.Funk in their prime...which, coming from me, is about as big a compliment as I will ever give.
