This is ridiculous - I've never had such a hard time finding information about a band / group.

H Reality, a member of my supergroup, introduced us, last tour, to an album by a Hotlanta gangsta rap group called Hot Girls. By this recent tour, it was literally all we listened to. The song "Easy Money" has become our anthem.

Naturally, it's hard to google "hot girls," even if you add lyrics (who knows if it's EZ Money, Easy Money, EZ Munny - you know how it goes)

More: When we were in Atlanta, we tried to find out as much info as we could. They name check several strip clubs in their songs - ones that exist, like Black Gold - and NO ONE has EVER heard of the Hot Girls!

For some reason I think I remember H saying that they mention touring with Cash Money at one point...and apparently they have their own label, Easy Money Records...but NOTHING TURNS UP

Anyway, it's heavy gangsta ("girls got guns too / and we ain't scared to squeeze on you") dyke rap, all about stripping and killing people. Needless to say, it fucking rules. We're ALL looking for it.

I know this is obscure, but can ANYONE help? Anyone who's especially Google-savvy? Anyone from Atlanta?

And several more in the "buy it now" section. Search on "Hot Girls 4 Life".

also, google has a section in beta where you can create a profile to narrow your search. So you could create a profile that narrowed your search to matches involving hip-hop and atlanta. it can be really helpful in times such as this. see it here: http://labs.google.com/personalized

Know the feeling. It took me forever to find out anything about the band P.E.E./Pee. I think I found mention of them on two record label sites, one guy's blog, and epitonic. But figuring out how many records they released, what was on vinyl and CD, where they are now, etc. was fucking impossible. Luckily the drummer of it runs a record store in San Francisco, so I eventually emailed him, but even he wasn't that much help. As great as the internet is, finding common and short band names are a bitch and a half.

see, this is what happens when rap group spell their names "correctly" - exponential turn-of-century info overload demands radical nonstandardization

Yeah, I'm curious now too.
I really gotta figure the soulseek out. As it stands, I'm reduced to begging for gmail handouts.
