Same Old Thing - fairly vague pop song ID

hi.

i am trying to identify a song i heard on a local radio station the other day, in norfolk. it was a sort of bouncy teenpop song with guitars on it (i think), and female vocals. the chorus went something like 'i've been looking for a place to go/everywhere i go it's just the same old thing' - it reminded me a bit of 'steal my sunshine' by len, perhaps?

thanks in advance...

Your search will not end well, I suggest you listen to Steal my sunshine a few times and forget this other tune.

Mania are associated with Xenomania. The B-side to Looking For A Place is called "If You Need A Good Girl" and is one of THE BEST POP SONGS OF THE YEAR, much better than the A. Also, the album sampler is kicking around, and "L.O.V." is very good indeed.
