both of their albums - the vinyl "i'm in the mountains" and the cd "weakness" - are on soulseek in a limited fashion.
soundwise, it's massive power trio noise with long epic songs. elements of early swans (thud thud thud) and the chaotic 'rock' side of gerogerigegege ('instruments disorder'). but that's no help really, it's just amazingly loud. great vocals that split the difference between larry lifeless and varg vikernes.

seriously, i was trying to explain it to a record store clerk a few weeks ago while buying a philip glass cd and "black hole" was the best descriptor i could come up with even though i wrote a full review:

Yep, Dead Rails is terrific. Is this band still active? Their musical bulldozer sound is most gratifying.
