Anyone check out Rob Sonic's Telicatessen?

If so, how do you think it fares in comparison to El-P's Fantastic Damage? I think it mines similar sonic territory but is overall more melodic, albeit less musically challenging/impressive. Also, is it just me or are Rob's rhyme schemes similar to Gift of Gab's (not the hooks, the verses)?

I like it OK - I've found the last few Def Jux releases a little dense - a little too long, a little too cluttered - but I love "Location is Everything" and a few others. Rob's really talented.

doc, do you like The Presence? Their new EP is out, way better than the Def Jux 12, which was pretty great anyway.

I think it pales in comparison. I was pushed to find a track I liked (Behemoth), whereas to me Fantastic Damage had a more or less mind blowing quality to it. Didn't notice any similarities to The Gift Of Gab, but maybe I wasn't paying attention enough. I usually don't get very analytical if I don't like something that much.
