Displaying CDs for sale - what's best?

Here in Chicago there are a lot of stores that display their CDs in different ways. Some I find helpful, some annoying, some terrible. I'm wondering what most people prefer when it comes to this. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Reckless - displays CDs in little plastic sleeves with just the jacket. It certainly allows for a lot of CDs to fit into a small space, but it's pretty crummy when it comes to flipping through. Especially when the bins are crammed. I won't even get started on the 7"s, those are fucked.

Dr. Wax - I haven't been there in ages. I think they have the whole CD out with the actual disc behind the counter. I like this, it's a lot like shopping for LPs. I've never bought anything from Dr. Wax though.

2nd Hand Tunes - Something like 2 CD jackets in one tall plastic sleeve (?) with the rest behind the counter. Why 2? Why not 3? I remember hearing somebody ask if they had to buy both CDs if they just wanted one. I haven't been there in ages either, it's terrible except for the store in Hyde Park, which once had a record covered in ketchup on display.

I remember a store in St. Louis that had all of their CDs with the spine facing out against a wall, like shopping for books.

2nd hand tunes would put a really nasty price sticker on every part of the cd case--the liner notes, the jewel case, the j-card.... annoying.

dr wax actually has the cd and the case out on the shelves, only often in one of those protective locking cases.

i like the reckless system, with those neato little paper cards that tell you the name of the artist/album and have a bar code so they can ring you up easy-like.

Can't stand 2nd Hand Tunes' method. Such a pain in the ass to flip through.

Have gotten used to Reckless'. But having to crowd around the new arrivals section with a bunch of other folks reaching around you to grab an entire section can be a bit of a hassle.

Planet of Sound mixes used and new together, I believe. This I don't much care for either, cuz I pretty much only buy used these days.

I prefer displaying my cds as rotating holograms. Everytime the hologram rotates, a different cd is shown. Touch screen flatscreens with attached headphones are located at waist height around the store for customers to looks up the info on the cd they saw and listen to it's melodies.
