Because I'm not sure that I do. I liked them a lot (so did a very-well known 'noise' scenester I know) back in the early days - That Sometimes Friends Fight CD was good to my 17 year old ears (Ian are ya with me?) but since then I've written them off as a 'quirky' emo band. But I rather like the two songs I've heard recently. Actually I disliked them at first but then they grew on me.

My little brother bought their new album the day it came out, and it's a lot more just straight-ahead guitar pop than I thought it would be. Also, apparently, they were very taken with piano for the new record, as like 4-5 songs feature it prominently. 'I haven't tried it' is Billy Joel x nasal.
