Getting CD Architect working

I'm having some trouble getting this going, I was hoping someone could let me know how they got it started. I need to mix mp3s into eachother and do other edits for a mix, but my downloaded CD Architect requires a special mp3 plug-in to do that. I have a key generator, but it appears to do nothing in regards to allowing mp3s to be used. Help would be very much appreciated.

As a workaround you could use dbPowerAmp to convert the MP3s to WAvs first.

i downloaded it some weeks ago and had the same problem, finally i just assumed that people use .wavs and that the mp3 plug in is bullshit

if you convert an mp3 to .wav and then convert it back do you lose quality?

I didn't have a problem with this, but that's probably because I have the mp3 plugin for soundforge already installed. I'm assuming they share the same one.
