A classic cut from "I Got That Work"

Discuss.

Do you mean "Snake"? This is the kind of shit Mannie Fresh should stick to making, beautiful dreamy guitar melodies that sound like 80's Isley Bros or something but with clicky ZX Spectrum loading screen snares and fat watery bass i love this shit. Fuck all that boring "hard" crunk shit.

"some of these hoes like to be fucked in the ass, some of these hoes won't let you touch they ass" hehe

"My Life" from the same cd is even more tear jerkingly gorgeous, like the blueprint candy caterpillar to "The Man"s shiny chrome butterfly and the little spoken word parts from BG and Juvie and Turk about drugs and their families and the crimes they've done and all that shit it's like sad but happy.

I don't know what this implies about my moral condition, but the track that sounds best to me is "Rocky" (which seems to be about beatin' bitches, though my listening comprehension of hip-hop lyrics is fairly low).

I like it for the way the "horn" bursts are shortened into beats and for the doo-woppines of "bow b-b-bow bow Rocky Balboa."

"Rocky" is a beautiful thing. Most of "I Got That Work" is, especially the intro.

"No No" is my favorite I think, although Rocky and Snake are both definite contendors.

"When yo p.o. try to make you pee in a cup you be like no-n-no-n-n-n-no he di'ent/
when a nigga try ta stick a big dick in yo butt, you be like no-n-no-n-n-n-no he di'ent."

"snake" is also such a perfect album-closer.
