Get the video there...the beat is bonkers, nice Lil Jon cut. It'll be a huge hit guaranteed.

I can'treally hear Lil Jon in it, but Luda's got his stamp all over it... and I wouldn't mind hearing it on the radio.

The production is v. Lil Jon.

The growls are mostly taken by Bonecrusher.

This is nice.

Strangely, I'd say the production is going after a David Banner sound - some of which was produced by Lil Jon, but what this reminds me most of is "Crank It Up," best track on MTA2 (and one of the best singles of the year), with atmospherics reminding me of "We Ride Them Caddies," second best track on MTA2. "Crank" is produced by the previously unknown-to-me Young Sears, "We Ride" by the equally unknown-to-me Cyber Sapp. This is a genre in flower.

By the way, if Amateurist is lurking in search of some "formal" analysis, crunk tends to eschew blues modes in favor of minor keys. I'd appreciate it if someone here with music-theoretical knowledge of Eastern European/Northern European "classical" (i.e., romantic) music could explain why this crunk reminds me so much of that stuff. (And then I could appropriate your ideas in my reviews.)

oh wow, i'm only 30 seconds in, and this is *real good*. btw, Frank, have you heard pastor troy's "crank it up"? that's also real good. i haven't heard banner's.

I'm definitely hearing the similarity to "Crank It Up". it's alright. better than "Fightin' In The Club", at least. I'm more interested in Shawnna's album, though.
