I didn't find a thread bearing their name, so I figured I'd start one. I'm rather peeved that I lost my bid on Financially Dissatisfied, Philosophically Trying while at work. I held the only bid on it for days and then in the final six minutes before bidding closed I was not only outbid, but the bid closed at nearly four times the amount I had originally bid!

It's funny, I didn't think anyone else wanted it. It was used, too...I can't imagine what a sealed version would have gone for.

Classic...a fantastic band.

I've never heard of them but can sympathise with the sudden inexplicable ebay loss of an item you really really wanted.

That first record--"In The Air Tonight"--is ultra-fucking-classic. The best post-Stooges Detroit rock record of all time, period.

It's the only one of theirs I've heard though, and SOOL don't do much for me. But that one...wow. It's just spectacular.

Each of the Union Carbide LPs is a classic in it's own way, and Ring My Bell on the first may be the best first track on a debut ever. It is fierce as fuck.

There is a new best of just out and Ebbot confirmed at The Soundtracks of our Lives show in Sheffield last week that the delayed U.C.P. box set will be making it's appearance sometime next year. I rubbed his belly as did just about everyone else there...

I forgot that they were supposed to have a box set coming out soon! I suppose I can wait for that, but I really would like to have something portable now.
